Nicole Shanahan is an attorney and businesswoman that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent presidential candidate, is apparently considering for her running partner.
According to a Saturday article on Mediaite, Kennedy is anticipated to choose Shanahan—the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin—as his running partner in late March.
Kennedy senior adviser Link Lipsitz registered the name www.kennedyshanahan.com earlier this month, according to the publication.
A source connected to the campaign said that Shanahan backed Kennedy's Super Bowl ad and that she would "help finance the ballot access initiative."
"She might be infusing millions of dollars into the campaign to help fund the ballot initiative, which makes her attractive financially; however, she lacks the qualifications to actually do the job," the insider said.
